Raven-Symone': Candidly Controversial or Downright Demeaning?

Former child star Raven-Symone' has been harshly criticized for her commentary on 'The View' since becoming a host of the popular talk show. Is the critcism justified? From who should and should not be on the $20 bill, to her ethnicity claims, to her seemingly racist remarks towards ethnic sounding names, and now, most recently her opinion on the Spring Valley High incident. A female student was viciously attacked and manhandled by a school officer after allegedly refusing to put her cellphone away. The video shows officer Ben Fields grabbing and throwing the student to the ground and at a point, even the desk seemingly to fall on her. Updated reports indicated the officer has since been fired adn the investigation remains in pursuit. Raven's comments though, while noting that the offier was out of line, seem to suggest that the student broguht it upon herself, asking, "Why were you on the phone?!" Is Raven accurate? Should the child have listened and abide by the rules and possibly avoided the indicident that followed? Or is this yet another eyebrow-raising Raven-Symone rant that seems both insensitive, backwards, and wrongfully judgemental? Do you think The View should reprimand her? Does freedom of speech prevail here? Or...should she even continue to be allowed to be a host the show?
