Hatred in Today's World: Will it Ever End?

Hatred seems to be running rampant in today's world...as if we regressed decades upon decades. It's not just racism, either. It's religious, political, gender, sexual orientation, and age specific. As a young person, in my 20s, married with children, it saddens and scares me to kind oof see history repeating itself. The players may change, but the game never does. I guess the million dollar question is how do we change this? How do we stop it? Can we? With all of the various platforms and outlets now via social media, can we put our right to freedom of speech to good and positive use?
