Cosmetic Surgery-Still Taboo or Now the Normal Thing to Do?

Let's face it, people. It's 2015. Almost 2016 if you want to get technical. We have seen in our lifetime everything from hair weaves, colored contacts, breast implants, butt implants, chin and cheek implants and beyond. Is it still all that uncommon? Have we gone overboard wsith the acceptance of cosmetic surgery? Have celebrities made us shy away from it or draw us closer to it? Is it no problem for us to want the bodies and faces of J.Lo, Kim Kardashian, Coco, Blacc Chyna, Amber Rose etc? Or should we just be happy with what we were naturally given for fear of turing into Lil' Kim, The Jacksons, etc? The procedures are costly, recovery time sometimes excruciating and let's be honest...there's even proof of some surgeries failing. I myself have considered surgery, I won't lie. I also won't lie about my apprehension due to the fear of becoming a medical catastrophe. Also, my personal self-worth and value plays a part in the hesitation as well. It's a roll of the dice..an expensive llife changing roll of the dice? Are you willing to take the gamble?
